CHINACOAT is an annual (even-numbered years are in Shanghai, and odd-numbered years are in Guangzhou) exhibition which offers an international trading platform for suppliers and manufacturers of the coatings industry to connect with global trade visitors.

This year’s exhibition spans over 9 halls, covering a total gross exhibit area of more than 105,100 square meters – making it the largest edition in its history!

  • The number of Asian exhibitors is overwhelmingly large, increasing from 896 in 2015 to 1,322 in 2025.
  • The number of European exhibitors has decreased steadily, from 128 in 2015 to 94 in 2025. Germany has always been the largest European exhibitor.
  • North American exhibitors’ participation is low, and the number of exhibitors is declining
