The Battery Show 2026 in figures

Source: The Battery Show North America (Informa Markets), thebatteryshow.com, consulted October 2026; organiser forecasts.

The conference programme is built around five main topics:

1. Battery Chemistry, materials & next generation cells

A major focus is what comes after today’s conventional lithium-ion batteries, including: solid-state battery commercialization, silicon-anode technologies, sodium-ion batteries, and advanced cathode/anode materials. Also in focus is cell design and performance, improving energy density, cycle life, cost and safety

2. Battery Manufacturing & Supply-chain industrialization

This is particularly important for the North American market to look into gigafactory execution and scaling, manufacturing-process optimization, electrode mixing and coating, quality control and inspection, manufacturing yield and reliability, critical-mineral availability, supply-chain localization, and building a competitive North American battery ecosystem

3. EV Technology & Powertrain integration

The show is looking the cells and also how batteries fit into the broader EV system, including the next-generation EV architectures, battery-pack design, powertrain integration, charging technology, EV-market evolution, recycling and end-of-life considerations

4. Energy storage & the grid

An increasingly important part of the show, looking beyond automotive batteries, includes battery energy-storage systems (BESS) topic, grid-scale storage, long-duration energy storage, sodium-ion storage, grid interconnection, the rapidly increasing electricity requirements of AI/data centers

5. Advanced air mobility & electrified aviation

The program also addresses batteries for aircraft and emerging electric aviation.
The Battery Show is a good place to start to connect or reconnect and assess together how we can help you voice the market and the key players all along the value chain. Whether you are based in the USA or overseas, we can address and analyze the answers to these following questions to help your company make the best educated strategic decision:

  • Can next-generation chemistries i.e. solid-state, silicon and sodium-ion – scale commercially?
  • How can North America manufacture batteries at competitive cost and yield?
  • Where will the critical minerals and battery materials come from?
  • How do we make EV batteries safer while simultaneously increasing energy density and charging speed?
  • How big will batteries become as infrastructure for the grid, AI/data centers and other non-EV applications continue to grow?
  • What does the next phase of electrification look like for EVs, aviation and energy storage?

At Dynovel, we can help, you be one step ahead of the market’s needs and:

  • Monitor the technological innovations & partnerships in the industry
  • Connect with the key decision makers in organizations at an early stage of the materials selection process
  • Voice your customers’ needs and opinions (OEMs, Tier 1, Tier 2, distributors…) to identify new features, sustainability profiles, properties, and experiences
  • Assess current volume and forecast the growth of specific chemistries, materials or technologies that are becoming key in battery solutions or recycling
  • Analyze market intel on the competitive landscape

Dynovel active in Battery and Automotive industries for 26+ years, will be there to address your sourcing needs, channel-to-market, market intel, NBD and Market Strategy in America, China, Europe, India, Japan; South Korea.
