SupplySide East 2024: 270 booths of companies involved in the Nutraceuticals industry, and 268 products have been highlighted at the Tradeshow as innovative ingredients.
A short analysis of the ingredients displayed shows:
1) The beauty-from-within
93 ingredients were showcased as beauty-from-within or where cosmetics and nutrition meet; SupplySide East confirmed that ingestible beauty is a concept that has been growing, mainly for hair (growth & health), skin (firming & restoring) and nails (resistance & growth).
Specific areas of skin health include products to heal atopic dermatitis, acne and sensitive skin.
Vitamins such as biotin, vitamin C, A, and E and supplements such as hydrolyzed collagen, vegan collagen, hydrolyzed rice protein, and mushrooms are top products that consumers are using to complement their daily beauty routine for hair, skin, and nails.
2) Women’s health
54 ingredients addressing women’s health & wellbeing, from anti-aging skin to menopause, stress relief and everything in between.
3) Science-backed ingredients
49 products have been highlighted during the show as having clinical trials or scientific data backing their benefits (with research regarding improved solubility, bioavailability, stability, …).
